PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY
Raw material necessary for the production:
The main material, which VelveTex buys for fabrics production is rayon, cotton and staple.
We buy rayon as:
- polyester filament yarn (PESh)
- viscose filament yarn (Vsh)
- polyamide filament yarn (PADh)
- acetate filament yarn (Ach)
Production
We buy finished yarns, from which we produce fabrics.
To the warp we use:
- polyester filament yarn (PESh)
- viscose filament yarn (Vsh)
- polyamide filament yarn (PADh) type 6
- acetate filament yarn (Ach)
To the weft we interweave following yarns:
- polyester filament yarn (PESh)
- viscose filament yarn (Vsh)
- polyamide filament yarn (PADh) type 6
- acetate filament yarn (Ach)
- spinning material:
- viscose staple
- polyester and cotton mixture
- cotton
- elastic yarns which are made from cotton/Lycra and polyester/elastan
We have following machines: warping machines, size machines, weaving machines and finishing machines.
The warp is realized by two methods: sectional and beam warping.
We use following machines for weaving:
- jet machines (H 175, H RBA)
- air machines (PICANOLY, PN 170 AF)
- rapier loom (SOMETY)
- gripper loom
- electronic jaquard machines (SOMETY)
Fabrics finishing
VelveTex,a.s. Offers fabrics in different kinds
of finishing, which is connected with a lot of
finishing technologies:
- preliminary finishing in piece-dyed and rope dyed
- dyeing with screen printed rotary machines
- in rope high temperature dyeing
- in piece high temperature dyeing and jigger
- pre-continued dyeing by methods PAD-BATCH and PAD-ROLL
- drying and fixation aplication with antistatic finish, softening finish, water-repellent finish
- film print/ kind of machine STORK, pattern repeat 64 cm
- calander finish
- groung finish
- raised finish
- coating with water dispersion ( acryl, polyurethane)
Development
VelveTex is developing new kind of fabrics according to request of our customers. We also try to insure our own products development.
We are able to insure broad range of coloured tints in colour Uni ( plain dyed) and broad range of screen-printed designs (FT). New designs for screen-print we elaborate at a computer in the designing studio.
